Raksha Bandan - Rakhi
श्रावण पूर्णिमा के दिन भद्रारहित काल में रक्षा बन्धन पर्व मनाने की परम्परा है। रक्षा-बन्धन के विषय में संक्रान्ति दिन एवं ग्रहणपूर्व काल का विचार नहीं किया जाता है। यधपि भद्राकाल में रक्षाबन्धन करना शुभ नहीं माना जाता है, परन्तु शास्त्रवचनानुसार आवश्यक परिस्थितिवश भद्रा को मुख छोड़कर शेषभाग में विशेषकर (भद्रापुच्छ) काल में रक्षाबन्धन 
रक्षा बन्धन
श्रावण पूर्णिमा के दिन भद्रारहित काल में रक्षा बन्धन पर्व मनाने की परम्परा है। रक्षा-बन्धन के विषय में संक्रान्ति दिन एवं ग्रहणपूर्व काल का विचार नहीं किया जाता है। यधपि भद्राकाल में रक्षाबन्धन करना शुभ नहीं माना जाता है, परन्तु शास्त्रवचनानुसार आवश्यक परिस्थितिवश भद्रा को मुख छोड़कर शेषभाग में विशेषकर (भद्रापुच्छ) काल में रक्षाबन्धन कार्य करना शुभ होगा । भद्रा सुबह या शाम पड़ जाए तो इस काल में राखी नहीं बांधी जाती। मान्यता है कि रावण ने अपनी बहन सूर्पनखा से भद्रा के दौरान राखी बंधवाई थी इसलिए एक साल के भीतर ही उसका अंत हो गया। इसलिए भद्रा में राखी नहीं बांधनी चाहिए।
